MAZZ MARSDEN
Mazz has been a freelance performer since 2006. She has a background in physical and improvised theatre, fire performance, interactive cabaret, walkabout characters, hula hoop and circus skills, street theatre and street performance, movement and dance, aerial, statue, puppetry and clowning. Alongside her own creative projects Mazz has been involved in collaborative projects with artists and theatre groups such as Megrez 7, tePOOKa, Harlequinade, Edinburgh Performers, PyroCeltica, Cantabile2 (Denmark, www.cantabile2.dk), LAVA (New York, www.lavalove.org) and DeLighters.
WILL BORRELL
Will is a talented young fire spinner with stunning visual patterns that will blow you away. His mesmerizing object manipulation based juggling will entertain any audience. Performing has always been a passion of his, interacting with a live audience with his magical crystal ball will capture the wandering gaze of any passers by.
ALENA POLAKOVA
Alena is a Slovakian dancer based in Edinburgh. She was trained in contemporary dance with Bralen Dance Company (Slovakia) and Tangere Dance Company (Slovakia). She was working with children at risk, run creative movement classes and workshops as a Teacher of Drama and Dance for two years.
Since she moved to Scotland, she did a Foundation course in Movement and
Dance Psychotherapy, finished Diploma in Physical Theatre Practice
course in 2010 in Glasgow. She has been involved in dance projects with
people with learning disabilities (Private Dancer), in various movement
and dance projects using visual art, masks, life music, shadows… and
she would like to learn about movement more and more.
